156 miles. Two days. Nine riders. And a fundraising total that reminded us exactly why we do this. The 2026 Texas Bike MS 150 was the most meaningful ride in our club's history. We rolled out of the San Jacinto Parking Garage in downtown Austin before sunrise on April 25th. The air was cool, the energy was high, and every rider on the team understood what we were carrying into those miles — the names, the stories, and the faces of people living with Multiple Sclerosis who depend on the research and programs this ride supports. Day one took us from Austin to La Grange. The roads through the Texas Hill Country were challenging in the best way — long stretches of open highway, rolling terrain, and enough headwind to remind us that this was not a leisure ride. But the team stayed together. We communicated, we encouraged each other, and we kept moving. Day two was the closer. From La Grange, we pushed through to the finish line in College Station, where the crowd and the emotion of crossing together made everything worth it. As a team, AANGCC raised $35,772 in 2026 — our highest single-year fundraising total in club history. With 363 individual donations and an average gift of $98.55, the generosity of everyone who donated reflected something powerful: people believe in what we are doing. We are already preparing for the 2027 MS 150. And we will be back, stronger and more committed than ever.
