Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of dementia — affecting 60–80% of dementia cases. It disrupts the flow of information within the brain, causing memory loss and cognitive decline serious enough to interfere with daily life.
The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
